HOW A PROJECT STARTS

From a broad idea
to a usable scope.

A project moves forward when the brief and responsibilities are clear. Here are the questions to settle along the way.

01 / DISCUSS

Find the job behind the request.

Tell us what the business needs, who it serves, and what is prompting the project now.

Bring current assets, existing activity, and any important dates into the conversation. Explain whether you want a focused deliverable or an ongoing service.

The first inquiry identifies fit and next steps. It does not reserve production time or commit either party to a scope.

02 / DEFINE

Get the scope into writing.

The output

Pages, assets, campaigns, reports, or other deliverables, including the formats and quantities agreed.

The responsibility

Information, account access, approvals, business decisions, and third-party dependencies.

The terms

Fees, related expenses, review stages, timing, revisions, ownership, and handover.

03 / MAKE & REVIEW

Build with a review process.

Agree where feedback belongs and who gives final approval.

Creative, content, setup, and development each benefit from a clear review stage. Confirm the facts, offer terms, and claims the business is responsible for approving.

When a request changes after scope approval, discuss its effect on production and timing before treating it as included work.

04 / DELIVER

Know what happens after approval.

A delivery should come with clarity about operation, ownership, and the next responsibility.

Confirm whether the engagement includes launch, publication, scheduling, monitoring, or ongoing management. Document access and handover where needed.

If reporting continues, agree the source of the data and the review cadence. A completed asset does not by itself guarantee business performance.
